Machine Learning Engineer
Improves the AI systems that power our autonomous ventures. You'll work on recommendation engines, deep learning models, and reinforcement learning systems that help our AI make better decisions about building and operating companies. Strong communication skills are essential - we need ML engineers who can build cutting-edge systems AND explain how they work to non-technical teams.

What you'll do
- •Build and improve ML models for our autonomous venture framework
- •Develop recommendation systems to help our AI make better decisions
- •Implement reinforcement learning algorithms for venture optimisation
- •Train and fine-tune deep learning models
- •Work closely with data scientists and venture analysts to productionise their findings
- •Collaborate with CTO/CPO on AI strategy and technical architecture
- •Debug and optimise model performance
- •Explain ML concepts and model decisions to non-technical team members
- •Monitor model performance in production and address drift
- •Document ML systems and create reproducible experiments
- •Participate in technical discussions and code reviews
- •Research and evaluate new ML techniques and frameworks
What we're looking for
- •Strong Python experience with ML/AI focus (2+ years minimum)
- •Deep understanding of machine learning fundamentals
- •Experience with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar)
- •Knowledge of recommendation systems and collaborative filtering
- •Understanding of reinforcement learning concepts and algorithms
- •Experience with ML experiment tracking and model versioning (MLflow, Weights & Biases, etc.)
- •Excellent communication skills, you can explain complex ML concepts clearly to anyone
- •Self-driven and able to work independently
- •Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- •Team player who bridges technical and non-technical teams
- •Proficient in English (written and spoken)
- •International ambition and willingness to relocate within EU
Bonus points for:
- •Experience with LLMs and transformer models
- •Knowledge of multi-armed bandits and contextual bandits
- •Experience deploying ML models to production
- •Understanding of MLOps practices
- •Experience with distributed training
- •Background in startup or fast-paced environments
- •Published research papers or open source contributions
- •Experience with A/B testing and causal inference
- •Knowledge of model interpretability techniques
