Data Scientist
Hunts for patterns, bugs, and insights across all our autonomous ventures at scale. While Venture Analysts monitor 8-10 companies, you'll analyse data from 30-50+ ventures simultaneously to find systemic issues, validate AI framework assumptions, and improve our entire system. You'll also translate your findings into reports, blog posts, and studies that we share publicly to advance the field of autonomous ventures.

What you'll do
- •Analyse data across 30-50+ autonomous ventures to identify patterns and anomalies
- •Hunt for bugs and edge cases in our AI framework that affect multiple companies
- •Test and validate assumptions in our autonomous venture creation process
- •Build Python scripts and Jupyter notebooks to automate analysis
- •Create dashboards and reports to monitor venture health at scale
- •Run experiments to test hypotheses about what makes ventures succeed
- •Identify when our AI is making systematic errors vs. random mistakes
- •Provide data-driven recommendations to improve our AI systems
- •Write findings into internal reports, public blog posts, and research studies
- •Communicate complex data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences
- •Document findings and create reproducible analyses
What we're looking for
- •Strong Python skills (pandas, numpy, matplotlib, scikit-learn)
- •Experience with data analysis, statistical testing, and experimentation
- •Excellent written communication, you can explain complex findings clearly
- •Ability to work with messy, real-world data from multiple sources
- •Comfortable with ambiguity and building from scratch
- •SQL knowledge for querying databases
- •Critical thinking, you question assumptions and dig deep
- •Strong presentation skills to explain technical findings to non-technical teams
- •Proficient in English (written and spoken)
- •International ambition and willingness to relocate within EU
- •Self-driven and extremely detail-oriented
Bonus points for:
- •Experience with ML/AI systems or LLMs
- •Background in startup metrics or growth analytics
- •Experience debugging complex systems at scale
- •Knowledge of A/B testing and causal inference
- •Data visualisation expertise (Plotly, Streamlit, Tableau)
- •Published blog posts, articles, or research papers
- •Experience translating technical work for general audiences
